Are you kidding me Australia?
You can give $200 towards therapy for MARRIED couples but you can’t fucking legalise gay marriage? How the fuck is that fair? Please someone explain to me how this is fair at all.
Apparently gay marriage is so against the bible, but then people shouldn’t be able to divorce, right? So why is therapy needed? I just fucking want to be able to have my own rights in the country I’ve grown up in. I want to be able to stand up and say ‘hey, I love this person. I want to marry this person’. But I can’t, and that makes me so so so sad.
Get your act together, Australia.

Seriously? Do they think married couples are throwing away their marriages too easily because therapy is unaffordable??? Marriage therapy has always been more cost effective than divorce battles, so why is money even an issue!!! Funding could be better redirected, perhaps towards mental health. If it didn’t cost me $70/50mins psychiatry session, I might’ve continued.
