ok, so today we had assembly and the house cup winner was announced

unfortunately it was the house no one likes

so when they went up to the stage we started applauding and didn’t stop

they just stood there for a bit and eventually motioned for us to shut up and let them speak

we applauded louder

the principal told us to be quiet a few times but every time he went to sit down we started clapping again

they had to make their speech in between applause

it made assembly go into recess but it was so worth it
