It is really weird with Christmas in Australia, because despite it being sometimes up to 40 degrees (104 fahrenheit) we still associate the season with snow because we see so much of it from American and European media.
Like, our entire bodies will be drenched in sweat, and if we step outside we risk catching fire, but we still exchange Christmas cards that show snow, our wrapping paper still has snowflakes on it, and most of our decorations are still winter related.
