Edmonton police search for missing 14-year-old boy
“EDMONTON – The Edmonton Police Service (EPS) is asking for the public’s help in locating a missing teenage boy.
Police say 14-year-old Eric McKinnon was last seen in the area of 105 Street and 45 Avenue Thursday. Officers say McKinnon has a diminished mental capacity and operates at the level of a five-year-old.
McKinnon is an Aboriginal boy, 5′ 2″ tall and weighs about 140 pounds. He has brown hair and brown eyes. Police say he was last seen wearing dark blue jeans, a grey, red and black winter jacket, black toque with white skulls on it, black mittens and black boots. Police say he may be carrying a red backpack.
