Next PostNext (i might have sent this ask before??? i don’t remember) but anyway one thing i don’t think you noticed in the 50th anniversary was osgood’s asthma being played off as a sort of fangirl reaction (she takes her inhaler after the doctor winks at her) and as an asthmatic that felt really bad?? i guess that’s ableism but it makes me rlly uncomfy that an illness that really impacts my life & makes things really hard was passed off as a joke. + a lot of the fandom took that joke and rolled with it :/
