I am dead ass serious when I say this people from tumblr will make you look stupid as hell, because you took the word of a motherfucker that just learned theory words as gospel. Tumblr is cool as a starting point, but research, form your own opinions, learn for yourself. Stop fucking regurgitating this archaic, harmful, vitriolic, oppressive, racist, sexist shit just to sit at the cool kids table. It is completely ridiculous to ingest without checking the ingredients of what’s been cooked and spoon-fed to you. Learn a world view for yourself, check yourself, be open to healthy criticism, ESPECIALLY if you aren’t from or of what you’re trying to be an expert on, you don’t know everything.

Talk to people that know more than you, have a healthy curiosity, but goddammit, still go out and learn for yourself. Cross check and cross reference, do not take people’s biases with you because you just wanted to sound smart and witty. The library is your friend, maps are your friend, Google is your friend, BOOKS ARE YOUR FRIENDS, all sorts of books, encyclopedias, audio books, theorist books. BOOKS, not motherfuckers that don’t know shit about shit and think everything but their way is evil.
