So, you guys remember DoodleOrDie, that website fad from 2011 that was basically Draw Something mixed with Omegle?
To those who don’t remember, DoodleOrDie is basically a game of telephone, but with doodles and descriptions. Someone draws something, someone describes the drawing, someone draws the description…so on.
It was HUGE on Tumblr for a while, but it’s currently…well…dead.
Recently, they’ve added ‘rooms’, which allow you to draw more specific chains. There are rooms for those who are better at drawing, those who need more practice, and more importantly, FANDOM ROOMS. It sounds great, drawing with people in the same fandom as you, having fun, meeting other tumblr users and following them…the only problem?
NOBODY USES IT ANY MORE!
It’s a wonderful, wonderful idea, but it doesn’t get nearly enough regular users for the game to really /work/. Without regular users, there are no doodle chains. Without doodle chains, there is no game.
That’s why I need you, Tumblr, to help get this website popular again. It doesn’t matter what fandom you’re in, there are rooms for every fandom. (If there isn’t one for your fandom, YOU CAN MAKE ONE!) and there’s the general room, for those who prefer non-fandom drawing. This website is just perfect to practice drawing with!
