dude whenever u see those posts that are like “u can go to any fantasy world you want but just one” and people are like HOMESTUCK or DOCTOR WHO or w/e. nah man. pokemon. there’s no pressure to go to school. the entire fucking economy seems to be based off of battling. you can make literally thousands of dollars from pokemon battles. also you get pokemon. there is literally no downside to this.
We have no problem in this country rewarding individuals of color momentarily as a way never to address structural cannibalistic inequalities that are faced by the communities these people come out of. …I am representative of a structural exclusion that room is made for “ones” so that room does not have to be made for the “manies”.

There is now a measles outbreak in New York. A whole ward of cancer patients currently undergoing chemotherapy have been exposed to it. Imagine fighting cancer for years only to die because some jackass didn’t vaccinate their brat and you caught measles.
