Modern America’s general attitude toward animation and comics is so completely ass-backwards and disrespectful that it actually almost disgusts me to be considered an “American cartoonist.”
American and French artists pioneered the entire goddamn medium, and yet only one of those countries still seems to care enough to take it seriously.
It doesn’t matter who you are, you are not somehow above animation. You do not get to look down on an entire artform without even looking at it just because you do not understand it.
