When did ‘I don’t accept that’ become an acceptable argument in a debate? Whenever a Liberal politician has been confronted with an uncomfortable truth from their Budget this has been their answer. It’s about as feeble and disingenuous a comeback as ‘because I said so’ or ‘you stink’ – and I don’t understand why they think they can get away with not accepting the reality they’ve sentenced their electorate to.

I’ve heard Joe Hockey say “I don’t accept that” like seven separate times about irrefutable facts like “you broke election promises” does he not have another line or basic intelligence oh wait we all know the answer to that
