I’m assuming you mean ten pin and not lawn bowls or something
- so let’s get one thing straight
- Lily Evans was freaking amazing at bowling
- like
- we’re talking about a girl who has been practicing technique and bowling for years with her dad
- so whenever she went bowling with the marauders
- she basically kicked their arses
- while Sirius and James would get flashy with technique and do really awesome looking bowls and everything
- Lily kept it simple and averaged about 4 strikes per game
- Peter was really sly when it came to bowling though
- he would make it look like he was losing for like the first half
- but then he would totally show his friends who’s boss getting strikes and spares all over the place
- like
- Peter was almost as good as Lily when it came to bowling, and would rub that in the others’ faces whenever they played
- Remus wasn’t a big fan of bowling
- he liked the friendly competition and everything
- but he wasn’t very good at it
- he was a huge fan of the ramps (which the children usually needed)
- the staff at the bowling alley usually gave him amused looks whenever he asked for one
- this led to some friendly ribbing from his mates
- but at least he could bowl in a straight line
- Sirius was absolute crap at bowling
- Like, man, you can’t get any worse
- he would try to make his bowl look really amazing
- but then he would accidentally get the bowling ball into the next lane
- or throw it up into the air in the middle of his exaggerated windmill
- breaking a light fitting probably
- people liked to stay far away from him when it was his turn
- the employees at the bowling alley didn’t like him at all
- James was alright at bowling
- he wasn’t bad, but he wasn’t amazing at it
- he was quite comfortable with his averageness at bowling
- he had good aim and coordination and all that
- but sometimes not enough force and that tended to bring down his score
- (also Sirius poking him in the sides just when he was about to let go of the ball didn’t help)
