WAIT. I DIDNT NOTICE THIS. CT FUCKING PUT THE BLADE THROUGH TEX’S GODDAMN WRIST AND PINNED HER ARM TO HER BACK. WATCH CLOSE WHENS HE SHOVES TEX AWAY FROM HER. HOLY SHIT CT. YOU DEF ARE THE BITCH WHO TAUGHT WASH HOW TO THROW A FUCKING KNIFE. DAMN GIRL.

Please take a moment to consider Tex and Connie’s relationship in this series. It’s basically just two scenes: Tex killing Connie and Connie’s last message. Consider that Connecticut was probably never speaking genuinely in the whole series as that moment on the video.

That moment where she she called herself by her right name — “Your friend, Connie.” — and called Texas by hers — ”Agent Texas… Allison.” — Connie abandoned the names the Project gave the both of them and addresses Tex intimately as a soldier and a woman, not a Freelancer. This is the moment Connie gives Tex her agency and, really, her identity and gives her the power to make her own decisions.

Never ever downplay how important Agent Connecticut was, I think, to Texas even if we never got to see it. Tex killed Connie… but Connie saved her. You want a character that did everything possible in Tex’s best interests without make a decision for her, who just gave her a choice and information and trusted her to do the right thing… it was Connie. Not Leonard, not Church, not Epsilon.

It was Connie.
