if u are ever thinking abt getting a dog from a shelter, please consider the older or more….scraggly looking dogs. when i worked at a shelter the puppies ALWAYS got adopted within like, a week, but the older dogs are there for weeks and weeks and often never get adopted. if u dont adopt that puppy someone else most likely will bc puppies are cute, but so many of the older dogs are sweethearts too and get overlooked.
