Hello everyone,

I apologize that, once again, I come to you asking for help. As you may know, Venezuela – the country I live in – is going through very tough times. Seeing our economy reaching a point of no return, and after much deliberation and thanks to a lucky opportunity (and the timely intervention of superchutney) I was able to get an Australian Visa.

My whole family knows we cannot live here anymore, but I’m the one with the means to go for now.

I’ve managed to gather roughly half the ticket fare (about $1400) between commissions and my patreon. However, I could really, really use the boost – the more I have as a cushion, the more money I will have to pay for the ticket, and any surplus will help me start over my new life there in AU. My current college job pays $20 a month, and Venezuela has no way to easily convert the local currency into foreign currency. In short, I’m very, very limited in the means of helping my goals along.

I’m planning to buy the ticket this month, as the latest I should leave is early May because of passport reasons.

I want to keep working and start a new life away from this whole mess, from the violence and the crumbling economy.

How to help:

– You can use the paypal donate button directly on my blog. (To the left.)

– You can also use the one on this link.

– By sending money via paypal to denseminds(at)gmail.com.

If so, please observe these instructions:
– Send it as “send money to friends and family.” (Do not send money as payment: this would mean you’ve bought something from me, and often paypal will demand I prove I mailed you the object you purchased, which isn’t the case.)
– DO NOT put anything on the note. This is to avoid things like this happening. Having my paypal frozen would be a nightmare.

– If you cannot help directly, signal boosting really goes a long way!!!

Thank you everyone from the bottom of my heart.
