As someone who’s majoring in medicine, using anything from a egg on a wound is incredibly dangerous.

Eggs are filled to the brim with microbial germs, bacteria and sometimes even parasites or diseases.

Not to even mention that eggs are the perfect habitat for growing formaldehyde, a extremely dangerous and toxic bacteria that kills living cells.

So if you’re bleeding out do what doctors have been telling you for ages; get a clean fabric and hold pressure to the wound as you call 911. Stay safe kiddies.

I didn’t even know that people were even doing this. Furthermore, when and why have they been using eggs in the first place?

Someone made a post saying to use it on cuts and scrapes if you don’t have bandages because it’s a “natural bandaid”.
