• ‘aesthetic vs shitposting’ is the new ‘hipster vs fandom’
• ‘aesthetic X’ blogs have replaced ‘hipster X’ blogs as the new form of comedy, such as ‘cr1tikalaesthetic’ mirroring ‘hipsterspongebob’
• the steven universe fandom mirrors the homestuck fandom in a large variety of ways, from ridiculous inter-fandom arguments to not sealing body paint
• the ‘gun’ meme interjected into random places draws a parallel towards ‘lol random’ humour, such as ‘egg’ and ‘cuil theory’

there’s no change in how we operate on this site, just how we express it

Don’t call yourself a makeup artist unless you are confidently able to do makeup on ANY skin tone. I’ve heard stories about “artists” working fashion week that actually told models with darker skin tones to bring their own foundation, powder, etc., because the “artists” didn’t know how to match them and didn’t have colors for them in their weak ass “kit.” Are you fucking serious… get out of here with that unprofessional bullshit.
