When will people understand that the term allosexual is used as a way to separate specifically asexual experiences from non-asexual experiences, not to say that all allosexuals are inherently privileged over asexuals. Experiencing sexual attraction is not a privilege in and of itself, as many people face oppression due to their sexuality.
When will people understand that compulsory sexuality is a very real force in our society, and one that impacts many asexuals. Acknowledging that compulsory sexuality exists is not denying that desexualization or hypersexualization exists, nor is it denying the existence of compulsory heterosexuality, or insinuating that heterosexuality and homosexuality are treated the same way by society. Multiple societal forces can and do exist at the same time, and not everything that effects one person will effect another, because in our society people of different identities are treated differently.
