So Jessica Jones is very important to me, as a survivor, and I was extremely amped up to watch the series ASAP but rape and implied rape in film can really get to me. So I asked my lovely squad if anyone could pre-screen for me, let me know what timestamps to skip over, and two of them kindly did, and then Aili took it a step further (by binging the whole thing and probably not sleeping again).
If, like me, you need to not watch certain things, but you want to know what details you may be missing, Aili’s list under the cut provides timestamps for start and end of segments to skip and brief non-graphic descriptions of what the subject matter of the skipped sections is, without getting spoilery.
