ask-wiggles:

Hi there, Wiggles!

I’ve worked at professional theme-park horror attractions, winning Best In Park horror actor a number of times.

Just to let you know:

1) We were trained that some folks would swing at us. We were also trained to take the hit, so that the park would not be at liable risk. You are in the clear on this one.

2) You are trained NEVER TO TOUCH THE GUESTS because, surprise surprise, folks will swing at the scary monster!

3) Always break for Children. This isn’t even training. This is The Code. You DON’T aim for kids, and you break for them. Always. Don’t teach them that scary is bad. Teach them that scary can be fun.

4) Target the asshole parents that decided that taking a four year old into an attraction called “Psycho Path” was a good plan. Target them hard. Make them learn regret.

5) The entire house can talk to each other. The folks at the back know what you did at the front. If it seemed like every single scare was targeting you? It probably was. You were reacting better than anyone else, and your reactions cause VASTLY more response from the other guests than anything we could do.

6) The entire area is LITTERED with false doors, hidden passages, and secret routes. We use this so that the guy who got you to scream so hard you almost threw up at the start of the attraction can show up again just as you think you’re safe, and get you  one last time.

7) YOU BREAK FOR KIDS.
