Just wanted to add that Redbubble is a site for artists to sell their own designs
the artist, MadisynMahagoni, is black and makes art and designs specifically for the purpose of “spreading awareness of racial inequality”
Redbubble uses stock photos to display their shirts and I believe that they use one male model and one female model, both white.
The issue here is that Redbubble needs broader representation in the models that they use or they need to allow artists to chose their own models, and we should all let them know. I would suggest tweeting them @redbubble with this message.
please don’t boycott a young black woman who is an artist and an entrepreneur just because the site she uses to sell needs to better itself
