#201: Unown
ever since pokémon variations became a thing, i’ve had this concept sitting around in the back of my mind. i love languages and alphabets, so i picked a few and chose letters basically at random to unownify. the letter’s name is presented, where possible, although it’s a bit different in hangul and kanji, so i’ve shown the pronunciation instead. i’ve also tried to stay true to each alphabet’s general feel in the design!
anyway. it’s nice to imagine that unowns take the form of whatever alphabet is commonly used in their region! i’d love to sketch out more of these so feel free to send me letters.
