homeworld gem empire vs alternian empire is such an interesting thing to think about

Tagsalso i want to see a conversation between the condesce and yellow diamond, also trolls have gl'bgoly'b who can instakill the entire species, and i doubt they'd have trouble hitting gems hard enough to break em, but gems dont die of old age and they also dont die in space or need food, i didnt come up with the idea i saw it a while ao, i mean its a shitty oppressive regime but like. the people are individuals, its also interesting to think about bc homeworld is totally about conformity and being what you were made to be, maybe dont tell the gems about that, so like... they don't need a supply line and ALSO potentially dont need like. hospitable environments inside their ships, they both have serious advantages and disadvantages, trolls have numbers and they reproduce a hell of a lot faster than gems, whereas i feel like alternia is much more individualistic?, with no variation
