im having plot trouble

Tagsand so they leave, but before that what do they want to do, but instead of ''home'' they get teleported 3409239480 miles away, but like after that, but like... they wanted to leave, i mean their initial motivation after theyve gone can be ''wtf lets explore'', i still dont feel like that's strong enough tho??, in the town they told like.... ''2 get answers go to this other place they have a big library or something'', ive got plot ideas for why theyll want to go there in the endgame, one of my ocs main traits is her detemination so she kinda needs something to be determined about, so like the initial plot is that my ocs want to leave, so now their motivation needs to be to go home, that was already going to happen but anyway, they need a motivation that eventually leads them back home, this is not what they were expecting but they probably arent' going to risk getting in trouble by going back, wait shit, what if like when theyre exploring they find a town
