Hey yall I know we wanna save the environment but the reason it’s illegal is because when machinery hits that spike it sends shrapnel (yknow, shrapnel of a RUNNING CHAINSAW) flying and is prone to killing or severely disfiguring the user. That’s like poisoning McDonald’s employees because you hate capitalism. It doesn’t make any impact on the big business behind the harm being done but gets innocent people trying to make a living killed.
