To everyone who thought about suicide this year: You made the right decision. The fact that you’re still here is a testament to something. To something in your life that you wanted to see through, or to someone who helped you or needed you, or to plain inner stubbornness.
Even if you don’t know why you’re still here, even if you try to think of reasons to live and you come up with nothing, something’s there. You may not be able to feel it or put a name to it, but there’s a reason you’re still here.
You are worth more than you know. Life is worth more than you know. Let’s give it another year together. Let’s give it a try again.
