idk why I chose a mirror I just grabbed any old thing when I was thinking about the concept. a diary would have been fucking GREAT for him but i don’t want to just copy what fucking voldemort did lmfao. dirk could have used his glasses as an object, which in some ways would have been better, but i felt like it lacked that wizardy aesthetic. idk kick my ass. after having already thought up the concept I found a fic where hal was a horcrux and dirk’s wand was used, so there’s that too.
