I actually want to point out something really key about incel psychology, Like other people mentioned, this person clearly has a strong case of social anxiety (I’d also add possible body dysmorphia, a serious disorder involving obsession with personal appearance and the many physical flaws and shortcomings they imagine they possess). But it’s obvious he’s projecting all of his internal issues onto other people, and that incel ideology is locking him further into mental illness and also pushing the blame for his issues onto others.
It’s common that social anxiety will cause you to be somewhat paranoid about what other people think of you and cause you to believe others are judging you when it’s just your own insecurities (I deal with the same fears at times). But every single moment of insecurity this person details is always interpreted as others mocking him, from the girls in his class, to the men in the shoe store. In all likelihood, those people didn’t think anything negative about him at all. The “prince” in the store probably didn’t even notice him. The girls in his class probably didn’t even notice his shoes. People with social anxiety have to start recognizing that the anxiety comes from the inside not the outside to recognize they have a problem and to start getting better, but I have no idea how this person could ever do that as long as they firmly believe this world is comprised only of dominating chads, pitiful betas and man-hating women.
For an incel, the world is hostile to them.
Their insecurities about their masculinity and sexual prowess become some elaborate pecking order in society and they are at the bottom. It’s easy to see how that ideology could transform intense social anxiety or other issues into violence.
