yes miley cyrus is sex/sexual expression positive but she has extremely racist tendencies and so you cannot call/refer to her as a feminist icon. if your feminism isn’t inter-sectional it means NOTHING and to passively admit that “yeah, shes got racist tendencies, but she does all this other stuff!!” and still refer to her as a feminist icon is like sooo belittling of woc’s struggles to get recognized in feminist spaces
