Cabin Pressure was apparently more of a hard hitting documentary than a comedy show…
I just asked my folks (both of whom work in controlled language and avionics) and apparently they do this specifically to re-train the pilots to be more precise on the gripe sheets, because the mechanics have so little time to fix issues.
And yes, Cabin Pressure is absolutely a documentary. One of my mum’s favourite commentary about it is “They must have had an excellent SME (subject-matter expert)”.
