i always hate those “*male character* is the new sans/onceler” posts bc its like they dont even get what made the two male characters a phenomenon to begin with

like sans was funny bc people were sooo hyperfixated on him that they completely fucked up his dorky and weird persona to make him this “super sexy and smooth talking sex machine” and then would ship him with literally everyone including various AUs of himself

and the onceler was like on a whole ‘nother level where people had no other character to ship him with so they ended up shipping him with… himself. and there were so many alternate versions of himself that there’s now a wiki page dedicated to the AUs and the fandom itself.

like come on y’all. you gotta be reaching really hard to make those comparisons
