why am set on trying to do a thing which i will need to learn how to program to do

Tagsand like... i know the logic that would make it work, bc then i could just tell the image to look at a different palette??, but idk how images work, I DON'T WANNA LEARN TO PROGRAM, i feel like that would be fairly simple, it just involves some stuff that's too complex for me, IT'S AN ART THIING, like how information is stored in image files and how/whether that can be changed, like ideally id like to have some file format where the palette is stored as a separate file to the image, well i kind of do it'd be super useful but i don't really have the time you know?
