like volume 3 needs to do a few things honestly and its mostly fixing stuff that was missed in the last two volumes

• give ruby and blake interaction because they don’t have?? any sort of relationship besides ruby being upset about blake’s state of mind and their book conversation. like this is kind of a big hole in the dynamic that needs attention.
• yang xiao long has the potential to have a good character arc this volume revolving around her mother and her insecurities that she showed in the latter part of v2
• establish what the fuck is actually happening with cinder’s plot? we need SOME answers, not more vague allusions to threats
• show that actions have consequences (ie not fixing everything magically like at the end of v2)
• strengthen existing bonds in general honestly? like i said earlier, blake/ruby needs major attention. weiss/yang and the ruby/yang sisterhood could deal with more fleshing out too.
• give nora a character outside of being a quirky brawler. we got a bit of that when she talked to pyrrha in v2.
• shit, kill two birds with one stone and build up the nora/pyrrha relationship.
• jaune takes a backseat this volume pls there are characters who need dire attention i do not care about noodleboy’s struggles right now let the boy r e s t
