He’s capable of treating Dipper warmly. -There are residual effects from the portal opening, which may or may not play a role in Bill’s apocalypse.
-Stan is willing to make murder-pacts with children -Stan is a seasoned cheater in dice games -Ford has visited several dimensions, as he knows which ones ban the infi-dice -Ford’s engineered weapons specifically for himself and seems like a trained fighter, which he didn’t seem to be in the flashbacks. He may have learned to fight on the other side of the portal.
-Ford still doesn’t know about Bill’s involvement with the Pines and Dipper specifically -Ford also doesn’t seem to know about the possible end of the world coming -Stan is trying harder now to bond with the kids, possibly because he feels threatened with Ford around -Mabel and Stan are closer than ever, but that bond may be alienating Dipper from them
