“Why do you watch people play video games on YouTube, why don’t you just play the game yourself”

Almost 112 million people are currently sitting on their asses watching a bunch of dudes play a sport instead of just playing the sport themselves

This. Its okay if people find entertainment watching other people play sports (or heck watching people cook, watch people play poker, etc), but then people find it weird that people watch others play video games?   

Reasons people watch Let’s Plays;

1. I want to check out the game before I waste $20
2. I don’t think I’m skilled enough to play this game but I want to see how it goes.
3. I want the game but it’s on a different console and I’m not spending $400 on a fucking console for one game.
4. I find it relaxing and the youtuber makes me happy.
5. Because I fucking want to.
