my parents are both pissed at me bc i don’t want to enter this one art competition even though:

• all art entered in the competition is up for sale (and the place holding it takes the winning entry)
• all of the art i have done so far which is good enough quality is personal, and while i am fine with selling prints and stuff, i don’t want to lose the art itself
• i probably can’t make something for the competition, because finishing my current work takes priority (it’s for a grade) and i will not have enough time
