If you feel your life is at risk, taking off your hijab /does not make you a bad Muslim./ in fact, doing that is FOLLOWING Islam. Your life comes first. The sahabiyat did it in Mecca when times were dangerous for Muslims, just like they are now. Dont let anyone tell you otherwise. Do what you must to be safe.
