- 99.9% of Australians right now are not in danger. The people in danger are the 13 people being held hostage. Fear and anxiety from those not involved is not in any way going to help anyone.
- DO NOT share police movement, photos and footage on social media. The Australian Federal Police cannot do their job effectively if their every move is documented for everyone (possibly the suspects!) to see
- Protect your Muslim brothers and sisters – especially the Hijabi girls. We’ve had disgusting instances of Islamophobia in the last few months and our Islamic community does not deserve to suffer from the acts of extremists.
