sorry but the “R” rating doesn’t tell people that the shape of water has an awkward gross sex scene and that a cat gets decapitated so yeah its kinda necessary for that to be pointed out.

fyi yall, you can always look up the common sense media rating for any popular movie or show to find out exactly what potentially sensitive/upsetting scenes it includes. case in point: https://www.commonsensemedia.org/movie-reviews/the-shape-of-water
