If you cared about the well being of fetuses:

  • you’d care about education and wouldn’t cut funding from arts education or education overall. 
  • you’d care about healthcare and wouldn’t appeal Obamacare.
  • you’d care about parents having proper maternity leave and easier access to child care.

So no, this is not caring for the well being of babies, because if you did, you’d care about what happens as they grew up and eventually lived on this Earth.
