No seriously can we have like a day or at least something dedicated to our own history because there’s a problem here on tumblr where:
- People are genuinely and conciously denying the fact that queer is a slur.
- People unaware of why marriage equality is actually important.
- People are so unaware of the AIDS crisis that “A movie where the zombie virus is transmitted sexually” sounds like “a neat oppertunity for ace representation” and not “Regan-era Anti-Gay Propraganda”
- People are unaware that “Homosexual” is a derogatory term used to pathologize gay people. It does not refer to “sexual attraction”, and should NOT be used to describe somebody else’s orientation.
