If you are Australian, stop what you are doing and have a glass of water. It’s important to remain hydrated in this hot weather even if you have air con on. Perhaps you or someone could check on people who live by themselves, to make sure everyone is doing okay. Turning the air conditioner on is fine, but maybe limit power in other areas in your house (I’ve turned off the television, and many other electronics).
