URGENT: STRAIGHT MALE ALLIES NEEDED TO SHUT DOWN LEGAL RAPE “INTERNATIONAL MEETING”

kaagazkalam:

This coming Saturday, February 6, at 8pm local time, followers of “Roosh V”- noted sexist, racist, homophobic, and overall horrible monster (not a human being)- will be holding secret meetings to rally for rape to be legalized. You didn’t read this wrong THEY WANT RAPE TO BE LEGALIZED.

This shit is dangerous af, and as they have barred anyone who isn’t male or straight, so we need all our white male allies to gather and shut this shit down. If you are a straight man of colour, please be careful. Even though the website says the meeting is for straight men of all races, the Roosh V following has also been known to be very racist and xenophobic.

Here is how the meeting will take place, as according to their website (I’m not going to link it because it does not deserve any hits, but all the info here is authentic- you may google and see for yourself):

We will have 165 meetings in 43 countries for our international meetup day on February 6, 2016 at 8PM local time. Hosts have been instructed to wait at the meeting point from 8:00-8:20pm before moving on to the final location. If you arrive at the meeting point at 8:21pm, you will miss the meetup. Arriving on time within the window is absolutely paramount.

To identify your fellow tribesmen, ask the following question to a man you suspect is there for the meetup: “Do you know where I can find a pet shop?” If you are asked this question, answer in the affirmative: “Yes, it’s right here.” You can then introduce yourself and get details about where to proceed at 8:20. If you ask someone for the pet shop and they appear confused or actually try to direct you to a real pet shop, they’re not there for the meetup.

If you are a woman, DO NOT GO, your safety is at risk. Roosh V has made it very apparent that your presence might be met with violence.

I won’t be able to attend a shut down (obvs- brown gay turban guy), but we need to shut this down ASAP. So to all my white brothers who identify as allies, now is your time to stand up and act.

I will be calling the RCMP and reporting this, make sure you report this to your local police as well.

Here is a list of all the locations where these men will come together (Roosh V himself will be at the Washington DC location):

Please please pleeeease do not ignore this or simply “like” it. Reblog, share a permalink with your friends who are not on tumblr, and get this out.

This bullshit MUST be shut down.

Most mass murderers do not go from zero to 60. Rodger made escalating assaults on women (splashing coffee on them, attempting to shove them off a ledge) before his killing spree. Both Cho and Justin-Jinich’s murderer harassed women before they killed anyone. When such acts go unnoticed and unpunished — because we expect men to harass women, and it’s not outrageous or even noteworthy when they do — they can become stepping-stones to more conspicuous and less socially acceptable acts of violence.

Raina Lipsitz

Interesting to note that while a history of animal cruelty is widely accepted to be a link with becoming a serial killer, the link between cruelty towards women and killing women is still up for debate. If a guy abuses a cat and then shoots women we say “we should have seen it coming that guy was nuts”, but if abuses women and then shoots women we say “we had no way of seeing it coming that guy was a perfectly polite, kind and wonderful human.

His Mother Must Be Proud.

tindersfinestbachelors:

Some of you may have come across the name Julien Blanc in the past few days. For those who haven’t, Julien Blanc (also goes by the name RSD Julien) is a pick up artist who works for the company Real Social Dynamics.

I first encountered Julien over the summer when we matched on Tinder.

This was a part of our conversation:

(link to the full convo bellow)

You can see our entire interaction here: http://tindersfinestbachelors.tumblr.com/post/94731409650/just-discovered-that-julien-is-julien-blanc

By the end of the conversation I came to two conclusions:
1. Julien is a creep with LOTS of issues.
2. Julien is a man (I use the term ‘man’ lightly) who REALLY hates women.

A few weeks go by and my roommate receives the same opening message on OkCupid! Several weeks after that, a friend of mine comes across a screen grab of the exact same message posted on Facebook, but in Hebrew!

It was pretty clear that there was a site where “men” were getting these pick-up lines, so I decided, as any human with internet access would, to google Julien’s ridiculous message. Let’s just say I was not prepared for what I found.

That’s when I discovered his full name, Julien Blanc, and the RSD community.

The more time I spent researching Julien, the more angry and upset I became. Here’s a quick look at the conversations Julien has with girls on Tinder. Taken directly from his Facebook page where he flaunts his ability to pick up women:

Here he is lying about the death of his Father:

Exactly. Why would someone lie about that!?

image

Here you can see how he uses a fake rape story to gain women’s sympathy:

*PUKE*

image

This is clearly all one big joke to Julien. He can behave this way because he simply doesn’t see women as human beings.

Some of you must have come across the Buzzfeed article published about Julien this week (Written by Mark Di Stefano). if you haven’t – it’s a must read.

image

Aside from harassing and violating women, we learn that Blanc is also a racist:

I can go on for days and days about how horrible Julien’s behaviour is, but instead, I thought I’d let his work speak for itself. Here are some tweets that I gathered from Julien’s twitter feed: (@RSDJulien)

… and that’s Julien Blanc for you.

Julien’s minions will claim that he’s OBVIOUSLY kidding! OBVIOUSLY!

I think any sane person will think otherwise.

After reading Julien’s tweets, you’ve obviously asking yourself, “what can I do to shut this fucker down?”

Well, you can join the #takedownjulienblanc movement, started by Jennifer Li (@JennLi123and help keep Julien out of your hometown.

So far, Julien and his RSD minions have been banned from 5 different hotels, all thanks to the uproar caused by the hashtag. The website Event Brite has also cut its ties to Julien Blanc and Real Social Dynamics.

I have one last thing to say to Julien. From me, and from women everywhere.
