“A heads up to everyone who is or has has been feeling sick after Katsucon, it has been confirmed that one of the flu strains that has made people sick is the H1N1 virus. If you’re feeling sick or have flu symptoms, PLEASE get to a doctor to prevent further spread of the virus. As a word of advise, if you’re feeling sick or running a fever, you should not be exposing an entire convention to your illness. Stay in bed, drink plenty of fluids and get some rest. No con is worth exposing thousands of people to a virus.”
A member of staff just passed away due to this virus after contracting it at con.
Wanted to give a heads up to my followers—I’m absolutely appalled that someone would bring H1N1 to a convention. If you’re sick, stay at home or stay in your room or something—cons are NOT amazingly essential parts of your life to the point where it’s necessary to not miss one at all costs.

Shit I checked to see if this was real and it is. The victim was Christine Larson. I found her families hospital bill fundraising site and everything.
ok tumbly, so the situation is this:
one of my friends was going to cover my top surgery, but unfortunately her situation got bad, things have fallen through, and now i’ve got a surgery date on June 10th i can’t afford to make many payments on.
i will probably cover at least part of it with a student loan, but as of right now i’ve got about $5,000 to cover. i’m already a little over $500 deep in this thing, and it’s not refundable.
i know everyone makes begging posts asking for money for top surgery, but i may as well add my voice to the throng asking for anything to help pay it off. even cutting another $500 off the cost would be helpful, so if anyone wants to toss a few bucks my way, you will have my eternal gratitude and if you ever wind up near me, i will cook you some amazing goddamned macaroni and cheese. the good stuff from scratch, not prepackaged shit.
i’m already in the hole with student debt and would rather not climb in farther, but it is what it is, shit happens, and i can’t afford to cancel the surgery date.

Since there’s a meetup coming up where (potentially) tens of people could meet and become friends with him, I find it necessary to make a post about this now.
Tumblr user yatoblessyou (who may go by the name of either Gio or Kayl) is an emotionally abusive and manipulative and just all around violent and terrible person. I have had the displeasure of having to deal with him for three years and I don’t want anybody else to ever have to deal with the shit he puts people through. There are plenty of people I could ask to back this post, but I don’t want to put them in a position that makes them uncomfortable so I’ll let them step out as they choose.
Please, please hear what I have to say.
Let’s not forget he potentially threatened the law on me. For what I don’t know. Slander, maybe? Assisted Suicide? He’ll probably claim I led him to attempt, or claim that I told him to kill himself, which is false as fuck. And his definition of slander is way different than mine.
I’ve also heard he threatened to beat down a friend of somebodies, He also guilted me and begged me to leave his girlfriend out of shit and not to go public with how badly he treated me, yet I have not once included his girlfriend in anything, that’s all on him.
He also made everything about Him And His Girlfriend when I was talking to him about a personal issue I was having with feeling guilty for accepting money from him OR Sass, since they had hired me to make the music for their game. He had no consideration for how I was feeling, and basically told me to suck it up and accept payment anyway. Even after I told him that I would just give it back. (I believed I was doing subpar work, which is the whole reason this even happened.)
Then he completely dismisses my uncomfortableness of being in a group chat with him and Sass, when I told him outright it freaks me out and I feel like theyre silently judging me. :/
He’s just a toxic, manipulative violent person and I’m starting to get a little scared of him tbh.
The fact that he has the potential to murder somebody, at all, is terrifying and I hope anybody who comes into contact with Gio/Kayl/yatoblessyou stays the fuck away from him.
Normally I’m not one to reblog shit like this when it’s a person I know (or knew), but this is a special case.
Seriously, don’t get involved with this guy. It’ll end badly for everyone in the long run. You will keep justifying it, keep giving him second chances to clean up his act — but he never will. He hasn’t changed a bit in the three years that I have known him, and if he has, it’s been for the worse. It’s a little bit like watching a train crash.
I’m not here to flame or bitch for hours on end about the things he’s done. I’m just here to say, don’t get involved.
Also, he’ll be trying to draw shit for people in an attempt to make friends. Whether you take it or not is your choice.
