thoughts about the name of the doctor!!!!
ok that was better than I expected
still not htat good though
first of all, the plot like all moffat’s plots has more holes than a sieve and is barely understandable
also the characters are all similar and two dimensional and stuff, people have already said this bc it’s like all moffat’s writing
about john hurt! if he’s the valeyard it could work. I could see that. it would be quite interesting, actually, as long as moffat doesn’t screw it up (haha like htat’s not gonna happen) if not….. nope.
also a couple of things that bugged me:
showing clara in the doctor’s timeline wearing companion’s clothes (I think? they looked sort of like them like with the seventh doctor one she had a leather jacket like ace’s, but it wasn’t covered in badges) sort of like implying she’s all the companions kind of

and also when the guy wants the doctor to say his name to hte door? and the guy’s like doctor……. what is your name????

it is the 50th anniversary. clara asks the doctor why he chose the name “the doctor”.
john hurt appears out of nowhere and says “the wand chooses the wizard, mr. potter. it’s not always clear why”. he then turns into the great dragon and flies away
