Jokes made at the expense of black people draw from century old racist stereotypes that is still used to oppress black people. Think the “welfare queen” stereotypes for example.
Jokes made at the expense of white people draw from critiques of whiteness. It’s more of a reverse ethnographic gaze, and is not used to oppress white people.
One is used oppressively. The other is used to challenge problematic institutions. When you say, “Oh jokes about black ppl are racists but jokes about white people gets +1034823408 notes” you are being very disingenuous. The two are not comparable in their social consequences.
