if you stopped supporting leelah alcorn when you found out about her previous problematic behaviour, you are saying that if someone is problematic, they deserve to be mistreated, abused, and dead.

Leelah Alcorn committed suicide and today I read that a black trans woman has gone missing. Her car was found charred to a crisp [X]. Note: the site is down at the time of posting this (12/30, 1pm Central) probably due to high traffic right now.
So it’s business as usual, the only way society is going to pay attention to us is if we’re dead and that’s only if we’re white. Trans women of color are being ignored yet again. Like yeah, there was the murder of Jennifer Laude and that gain some mainstream notoriety, but notice that when a black trans woman is murdered it is never going to hit the national news circuit.
