i mean the invaders being from an asian country is accurate to the books, isn’t it? obviously the “white vs asian” thing isn’t ideal but i’m not sure how you could get around it?
i haven’t read them for years but from what i remember john marsden went out of his way to never actually say what race they were?? they were from a semi nearby poor country that wasn’t new zealand is as close as it got. and logically the only countries that fit that description are asian ones, but im still kinda :/ on it
